While frozen out of the studio
Jan. 27th, 2008 04:28 pmI have been painting this time on my own bisqueware. These are all incomplete they need to be fired and the ones with underglaze will have a transparent glaze applied over all.
I am a humble subject of the whims of the kiln and there is always the chance that the glaze firing will not work out, so I photographed them unfinished. It will be interesting to see the differences after the glaze firing.

My Tennants
Jun. 19th, 2007 06:08 pmFor the first time in a long time I pulled aside the curtains and peeked at the robin's nest that is just a few inches from my window. There are 5 chubby robin chicks crammed in the nest now. Mouths open and trying to elbow (or wing) each other aside with Papa scowling at me from the distance.
