Fruit goodness

This is the best year for my fruit trees ever. Strange thing is I neglected them this Spring, no pruning, no fertilizing, I never spray, but the trees are full.
The pic below is of Lodi cooking apples, but I ate one and it was a great eating apple too. I'm going to make a Dutch Crumb Apple Pie from these for a potluck this evening:

Man those look good. Our fruit bushes are over loaded too! What a great year. Our raspberries are falling off because we can't eat them fast enough, and the cherry boughs are drooping due to the weight.
I love apple pie. Those lucky lucky potters!

Interesting and curious why this year is so good. I really did neglect everything. I'm glad you are having a good year too.

Apple pie...... one of my lifetime goals is to be able to make apple pie like my Gramma did. I watched her intently but she did nothing unusual with them but the taste of heaven when it came out of the oven.
