morgainaThis morning a lady came over to buy some pottery for a gift. I used to work for her and she is on my top 10 list of women I admire most.
She was originally from the Philippines and told me that when she lived there, they pit fired pottery for their cooking pots. She said they were used all over and everything was cooked in them.
That was probably 40+ years ago when she was there, I wonder if it is the same today?
I really enjoy the thought of the consistency of craft through time.
