Seeing my daughter tomorrow
Jun. 13th, 2011 09:48 pmJust a couple of thoughts.
Getting up at 2:30am to catch a plane is madness.
I tried to be organized but when I laid out breakfast that I could take with me, guess who ate it when my back was turned? (I'm lookin' at you fuzz face :-(
In addition my itinerary was still in an email, making this a particularly unpleasant time for my server to go down 1/2 a day.
Since all suitcases are either black or red and look alike and I've spent too many turns of the baggage carousel trying to decide, I painted a cave pony on my suitcase. The acrylic paint is taking its sweet time to dry. It looks pretty good though.

Date: 2011-06-15 04:00 pm (UTC)The plane had to sit on the tarmac for awhile before we got to depart. I planned to meet my daughter at the baggage carrel. When I got there (late) she was waiting for me with my suitcase. She saw the cave pony and knew it was mine without me telling her.
