Dec. 9th, 2007 08:39 amI haven't read a post from
jeanderson for a bit. But I'm thanking her again. She was the person who introduced me to the Kiva
organization http://www.kiva.org/ . A place where small amounts of money can be lent with no interest to people from developing countries to start or improve their businesses. A loan was recently repaid and I was able to loan that same amount to another entrepreneur. I have chose to loan to single Mothers from Central or South America.
It makes me feel so happy.
I only wish I could have done this when the kids were little, I would have let them choose a recipient and then follow their progress.
Thanks Erica.
