I just found out about this on my Clayart elist.

http://www.samplesoap.org/

People save their unused soaps & shampoos from their Hotel rooms and donate them to Homeless Shelters, Domestic Abuse Shelters, etc. Food Stamps don't cover soaps.
12th Night or KA&S where most everyone stays in Hotels would be great places to collect these. When you rent the room, you buy the toiletries.

Must think on this.

We do that here and the soaps are passed on to mental health consumers around Hexmas time along with other basic items like socks & mittens.

I'm glad to hear that!

The charity I'm on the board of also collects sealed toiletries to give to kids in foster care with toys, school supplies, other personal items. It's pretty cool that something so "small" to us can mean so much to someone without.

Hotel toiletries are one of the things that really irritate me because of the waste.
