With her Zombie drawing.

In case Handsome Goth Son wants to have a little luncheon party I made him a bowl set.
[livejournal.com profile] dancing_guru and I often say to each other:

The color isn't so accurate, but you can see the carvings in this pic.

Color more accurate here. The skulls all around the bowl are different and some quite dorky.

And the set.

The shop jury will probably reject these pots too. (heh)

If they don't want them, I do. I have a friend who would love these. (If they were in a darker glaze, I know a bunch of people who would want them.) Your HGS is way cool.

The "shop jury" was me being facitious ;-) they would run and scream and not in a good way.

These were my 'beta testing' design, I think I could improve on it. The shiny green was intentional, I thought about a black glaze, but liked the odd contrast of a bright, colorful background. I think I could do other colors though.

That dark purple glaze you have? Perfect! Let me know if there are more and how much, ok?

WANT!!!

I like it with the green. Looks like infectious puss (but only over skulls. It's just plain beautiful on other designs.)

He'll love them.

These are so cool. How about an earth brown glaze with the skulls wiped clean? Like bones showing in the bottom of a grave?

Might be interesting.
Part of my bright glaze is the attempt to avoid cliche as much as possible. Plus the thought that this is something WalMart would probably not hire the Chinese factories to make although they have been trying to cash in on the faux Goth craze.

I'm glad you like them. They are a bit too strange for some people.
