I am not a Bookie (is that the handmade book equivalent of "foodie"?) but I think I will take this class. The workshop fee is unbelievably within my financial abilities. Wow! Wish more lj friends were close enough to take advantage of this too.

Bookbinding Workshop taught by Jim Croft
Internationally known book, paper and tool aficionado, Jim Croft, will teach the workshop series. Mr. Croft’s classes will cover basic book forms and techniques, advanced book binding structures, tool making, book repair and possibly papermaking.

When: Starting Wednesday, October 22nd at 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Where: Prichard Art Gallery, upstairs studio room

Price: First Session Free (Oct 22)

One-time fee: $15 Prichard Member $30 non-Member.

$15 for each class. Material cost varies for each class.

You are not required to attend every class. Try to arrive as close to 5 pm as possible to each class so you will not miss any information.

Definitely take the class. Interesting, and then you can not only be a bookie, but you can claim to "make book."
