I am going to post a lot of pictures today.



Turkish phoenix sketched in with charcoal.
This is actually painted in now, so is one other panel with a border. After several days of wind it flopped over (I obviously need to attend to the guy rope thing), which actually made it easier to paint anyway.


Tent poles are another Turkish design in black sharpie covered with polyurethane. (blush)
No cool furniture and rugs, so again with the surface design.

Never too late. I like to work on them when talking to people, warning them a little about swinging poles. I also sit with them on my lap and work while I am reading the computer stuff.

Lots of table covers and chair covers will take care of the furniture, especially if you are going turkish.

Makes me excited to get started on our arming pavillion! I want to paint it too!

The pavilion is folded up and inside my Isuzu currently. I will have it at Coronation. It is a work in progress.

I'll just have to wait until you post more pictures. We were planning to go to Coronation until we got the weather report for the Tri-Cities area. (96-99 degrees is a bit hot for a forge worker, even if it is dryer than here. Also, I'm concerned about him using the forge when it's so dry, even if it is in a fairgrounds.)

I find that as I've gotten older (and had more experiences with SCA and weather) that I'm not as quick to go to events as I was.

I hope the event goes well for you. (I suspect the weather is not that much different from Moscow for you.)

It sounds like it could be easy to get severely dehydrated over the forge.
We stay about 7 degrees cooler than Lewiston/Tri Cities in general.
