Studio and Snow.
Mar. 1st, 2008 05:56 pmHad a luvley, luvley day in the studio. Still working on altering the shape. I threw thin and wet, pushed the fine point where the clay goes from malleable to a collapse. There was a small amount of collapseage, but I am closer to what I want if not there yet.
The snow is melting some, I can back up 5' closer to the house than I did Thursday. 5' makes a big difference when I haul those 3000 things from the back of the car back and forth to the house. I tried shoveling to hurry the melting process, but there is a good 3"-4" of solid ice under the snow, so it was an exercise in futility.

Date: 2008-03-02 04:19 pm (UTC)enough to spend time in the studio throwing. I knwo it ISNT as coldhere as it s for you, nor as when I was in teh MidRealm, but I alsoknow I seem to get colder muh more easily than I used to...it seems to take less now to be miserable. there are other things I need to do..sort things out, make glazes, organize things,,but throwing is The Best(tm), throwing is the most fun.
