Another Christmas pot

This one was made for dancing_guru's cat Booka. It's an automatic pet feeder. The dry cat food replenishes as it is eaten. The opening is higher than the eating dish because the food finds it's own level.
I couldn't make one for Amby because he would knock it over, gobble up all the food, then vomit it on the rug. The daughter's cat is much more dignified although he doesn't have the cute floppy ears.

My kitties would love to eat from such a beautiful feeder! I love the colors.

However, they would never eat out of the same dish at the same time. In their Book of Cat Manners; That Is Simply Not Done. Stealing from each other is, but not eating at the same time from the same dish.

That helps a lot! Some times, things can be surprizng that way..stuff you woudl thing would be difficult, trun out to be easy..( sometimes, viceversa!) Well, it looks really good!

In particular I was unsure because was using B-Mix, which can be a fussy body; and was doubtful if the two sections would pull apart. Especially because of the uneven weights. But to my delight they stayed firm.

It seems like it could be helpful if someone wants to be gone just for the weekend or so and it's complicated to arrange to have a neighbor feed their cats.
