Artisan's Row at Baron's Ball
This year once again at the Barony of Wastekeep’s Annual ‘Baron Dyon’s Memorial Ball’, held on October 5-7th, have invited us to have and work in an Artisan’s Row. There was a lot of positive response last year. The Artisan’s row itself will just be on Saturday the 6th.

So if you are reading this, and even if you are not ;-) please, please come join us!!!! We had so much fun last year and want to repeat it.
ornerie cooked in open air, Torvald beat on metal,
mrq_laurellin made felt, there were jewelry, pottery, scribal arts happening too. We hoteled it, but camping is available on site.
If you just come hang out with us, we want you!
daedin was invaluable support staff and official yarn unraveler last year.
More points to convince you:
The Royalty will be there.
Folk singer Alex Adams (formerly Heather Alexander) will be entertaining in the evening.
The autocrats are supportive and try to accommodate whatever we need.
If you are a fighter, or have fighters in your family there’s a war tourney going on.
People really appreciate it, the Inlands are trying to do more A&S activities, this is such an easy going and productive one. We really, really appreciate support from folks from the rest of the Kingdom.
The weather there is always good, pleasantly warm & comfortable.
Nice grass lawn and shade trees.
Much space to stretch out your projects.
My undying gratitude, I’m not above bribery, what can I do for you?

It's my birthday that weekend, and I'm considering taking myself to see Twelfth Night at the Seattle Rep. And I'm serious about a break from eventing.

There goes my Godmother reputation. :-(

would love to do some cooking again (perhaps something a BIT less ambitious this time ;)). if all I'm doing is a single dish, I can be self supporting, up to and including bringing my own reproduction fire box :). wait till you see this thing, its cuter than snot.
another thing is thta I may be able to finagle some of the pewterers guild to come. interested? they can do soapstone casting over an open fire (in which case, no fire for me, unless I can mooch some from Torvald again)
whee!

I'm going to bring my Torvald braiser.
It would be so great if the Pewterers would come too!!

I have a crass commercial question for you. I am looking for amphorae and am told that you occasionally make them?
tjk_40 = Constance Davies in the SCA.

I do make amphoras.
I don't have any in stock, but could throw about any size & shape. My turn-around time isn't too fast due to the size of my new kiln and me back at work though, so it would be a bit of time.

Heck of a long drive for me when I have to be back to work Tuesday. But worth considering.
