another project
Feb. 26th, 2011 10:42 amI did a trade with Istvan for a simple pine box for events. I would like to do some faux decorative elements on it.
I believe there is a kind of putty that can be formed/sculpted as a low relief on wood then painted over. Does anyone know what this is called, or if it is a good material, or if it will fall off later or not plastic enough to form shapes well, or or or?
Thanks

If you have access to a Foredom or some other hand drill (the more common, non long shaft driven model name is eluding me) you can freehand inset designs. How about faux painting? Stencils? Leather?

Thanks
