Quote of the Day
May. 9th, 2013 08:57 pmThe plan was to use stamps that we painted acrylics on and then stamped the designs onto fabric in repeated patterns. I had cut some dense cotton into shapes about 9" by 12" and ironed them flat for the kids.
I explained the procedure, then showed them the cotton rectangles. One little boy (the boy of so many of my favorite quotes) began to cry, pound the table, and kick his feet.
Me: "Bobby whatever is the matter?"
Bobby: Between sobs "You said you were going to give us fabric to stamp on and you're giving us toilet paper. Waaahhh!!!!"
(I don't want to know what his home is like.)
